Pulsed light technology offers a gentle, non-invasive, long lasting solution to unwanted hair on the face, back, legs, bikini line or any other body area. Photo-epilation has been performed safely for many years.

Skin or photo-rejuvenation, using pulsed light, is a non invasive treatment, that treats skin damage with out the disruption to you day. It gently, but effectively removes the signs of time in just a few treatments.

Balancing and pre-conditioning the skin is essential for maintaining its integrity. At Pelle Clinica, we provide professional skin products and therapies to help you achieve the skin you want. These carefully formulated products range from daily skin care to a variety of professional skin re-surfacers for all types of skin and skin problems.

On arrival you will be invited to meet our qualified expert consultant with years of clinical experience, who will talk you through the assessment and treatment options. If you wish to go ahead with treatment the consultant will be your personal therapist.

Your assessment appointment takes about half an hour, but can vary according to your needs. We want to find out what your concerns and expectations are and we need to know about health/ medical history. We will tell you about the treatment options and make a plan with you. During your assessment you will have a small area tested to see how you respond to the light treatment. If the treatment is appropriate for you and you are happy to continue, we agree appointments to suit you.

The cycle of hair growth has three distinct phases: growing, transition and resting phase. Light assisted hair removal will only successfully treat hairs in the growing phase and it is for this reason that multiple treatments are required. The proportion of hair at each stage of the cycle, as well as the duration of each phase, will vary for different body sites and for different people.

The treatment procedure is explained during the assessment time, but there may be more questions when you start treatment � so please ask!

The area to be treated should be free of any make up, deodorants or fake tanning creams and moisturizers.

A clear gel, similar to ultra sound gel, will be thinly spread across the area that is to be treated. This helps the light stay focused into the skin and provides skin cooling at the same time. During treatment you may feel a snap and possibly a little heat beneath the skin. This is normal.

Once the treatment has been completed, the gel is wiped away and you are free to go about your normal day with no side effects to worry about.
